Private Opens Gentlemen's Club

Private Media Group Inc. has announced the opening of the first Private Gentlemen’s Club in Bucharest, Romania.

The club is exclusively decorated with 7,000 square feet of entertainment space located in the heart of Bucharest, the capital of Romania and home to 2.4 million people. It has a capacity for 350 people and will host 75 dancers each night. The company said that entertainers and well-known Private stars will appear at the new venue, which is unique in the city.

On October 15 the club will be officially inaugurated when over 250 guests ranging from corporate executives to sports and movie stars will enjoy a grand-opening party. The event will be hosted by Crina Matei, a popular Romanian TV talk show host and a former Playmate, and will include performances by the two girl-bands Trident and Laguna, both famous on a national level.

In conjunction with the opening, a major advertising campaign, including outdoor advertising, radio and TV spots, has been running and will continue through the 15th.

The opening of the first Private Gentlemen’s Club marks a major step in Private’s licensing program in the club arena. It the product of a licensing agreement which was recently signed with international businessman Zyon Ayni, owner and operator of the club.

“Operating under the Private brand, this new club will offer high-class entertainment for gentlemen looking to enjoy a night out on the town in an elegant, exciting location with up-scale adult entertainment," Ayni said. "This is the first club we open and in January 2006 we expect to open a second in Barcelona, Spain, with England, Germany and France to follow.”

Berth Milton, Private’s chairman and CEO, said, “The entry into the club arena with our licensing program takes the Private brand further into the mainstream lifestyle segment. Our brand recognition should and will go beyond where it is today, reaching a broad, valuable and growing customer base. This is just one of the many steps I expect us to take in this direction.”
