Private Media Group has received the first payment of about $2.5 million or two million Euros from Erotic Media AG under a content distribution deal struck last month between the two companies.
Under the deal, Switzerland-based Erotic Media will pay Private a minimum six million Euros for the rights to broadcast Private content through video on demand and pay-TV services in German-speaking areas of Europe.
“We are 100 percent satisfied with our decision to choose Private Media Group as our chief source of adult entertainment movies for our growing Pay TV and VOD markets,” said Bernhard Mueller, a member of the Erotic Media’s board.
Private is a multi-platform-based adult entertainment company, offering subscription-based porn through movies, magazines, the Internet, broadband video on demand site, along with live sex chat, adult personals, DVD rental service, and an online shop.
