Private Debuts New Electronic Magazine on Chip for PDAs

Private Media Group debuted their new product- the e-MAG, at a press conference during the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo. rnrn

The MMC chip, which can be inserted into compatible PDAs, includes thirty minutes of full-color video clips from the company's videos and films, a series of "DigiTales"- pictorial spreads with digital audio commentary, and adult games such as strip blackjack. The chips are compatible with PDAs running Microsoft's PocketPC operating system. rnrn

The company expects to release Private PDA: No. 1 in March. This will be followed by Sylvia Saint: In the Palm of Your Hand and Private Gladiator. There will be hardcore and softcore versions of the chips available.rnrn

Charles Prast, President and CEO of the company said at the conference, "We believe this product is unique not only in the adult market but also across traditional media in terms of technology and functionality. Private has always aimed to be first in providing its high quality adult content over new forms of distribution and is proud to have achieved first-mover advantage in the lucrative hand-held market."rnrn

The chips will be packaged to resemble Private's magazines and will have an SRP of $29.99.
