BARCELONA - Euro-porn giant Private Media Group has announced the appointment of Giles Hirst to director of marketing. Hirst will spearhead the marketing direction for Private's array of content across all platforms, including DVDs, mobile, web site, television, magazines and the company's licensed merchandise.

Hirst has spent the past five years at Private as chief copywriter as well as managing the production and marketing for a variety of the company's hardcore lines. Prior to this he was the Consumer Director for Red Rooster PR in London. His client roster included: Nestle, Chupa Chups, Martell Cognac and Stolichnaya Vodka.
