A new feature has been added to AVN.com to help accommodate the overflow of information companies have to offer those involved with the adult industry by publishing press releases submitted by companies.
“The adult industry just gets bigger every day and we're happy to be able to provide a section where press releases can go up almost immediately, making AVN.com a more dynamic read,” said Tim Connelly, editor-in-chief and publisher of AVN.com and AVN Magazine.
Adult companies submitting press releases should be aware that images are not used in the press release section, and that including their release as a text file attachment when submitting will greatly expedite the amount of time it takes for their release to go up.
The press release section, which can be found by clicking on the “Press Releases” button on the navigation menu found to the left of the Website, will be separated from news stories on
AVN.com.
“That’s not to say that press releases will not sometimes be selected for development into news stories,” Connelly noted. “Press releases are often the basis of articles written for AVN.com – the fact of the matter is that we simply can’t do that for all of them.”
The press release section conveniently allows users to search by company, so that they may easily find information for any particular company.
As indicated in the press release section, AVN.com reserves the right to alter or edit a press release in any manner we see fit. AVN.com also reserves the right to refuse to publish a press release from anyone for any reason on a case-by-case basis.
