Director Jim Powers has completed the sequel to P.O.V. Squirt Alert for Mayhem, which features an up-close look at girls squirting.
“The idea was to take POV to the next level, and bring the viewer into the world of the exploding vaginal orgasm, the squirt,” Powers said. “We just wanted to show people this is not just an urban myth.”
Powers, who compared the series to the rides at Raging Waters, said the scenes are shot in POV fashion, so the male performer’s face is not shown.
“But we shoot from various different angles of POV. True POV is boring. You can’t really go up underneath and get the side views of that great piston action,” he noted.
“Every scene the girl squirts, or we physically throw them off set, and burn the footage in front of them.”
This volume stars Leah Luv, Courtney, Angela Stone, Claire Robbins, Annie Cruz and Sonoma, while the debut in February starred Missy Monroe, Flower Tucci and Gia Paloma, among others.
”The first one set the template,” he said, adding that he believes the concept is an original.
“I think it’s the first time in history,” Powers continued. “I don’t do POV squirt lines anywhere else. This is strictly for Mayhem.”
The director said it isn’t easy shooting this type of porn.
“I get drenched constantly,” he joked. “Plenty of it gets on the lens.”
Mayhem publicist Devan Cypher said P.O.V. Squirt Alert 2 is due out in early July.
“We’re mixing two of the hottest genres that are out now,” Cypher said.
