BUDAPEST—A celebration of life event for performer Brad Knight has been slated for May 17 at 6 p.m. in Budapest, Hungary, where Knight had been residing until returning to the United States recently, following a stomach cancer diagnosis. He passed away on May 6 in a Los Angeles area hospice.
News of Knight’s death was relayed to AVN by his friend and colleague “Porno” Dan Leal, owner of Immoral Productions, who will host the event.
“Our recently departed friend, Brandon, also known as Brad Knight, asked if I would throw an event in his honor if he passed away from cancer,” Leal said. “For all of you who knew Brad, you are aware that he loved to have fun and lived life to the fullest.
“I want to invite all his friends and colleagues to celebrate his life this Saturday, May 17, at 6 p.m. in Budapest. We will provide BBQ and beverages. Please, come and honor the life of a man who had me donate all his possessions to charity and was always willing to help others,” Leal added.

Knight was AVN's 2016 Best Male Newcomer and a veteran performer with more than 1,000 scene credits. Taking a break from the industry in 2019, Knight returned to performing in 2022 after relocating to Budapest. In August of 2023, doctors there diagnosed Knight with stomach cancer. He had returned to the U.S. in April to appear in scenes for studios on the East Coast but was unable to perform and, at that time, was informed by doctors that the cancer had spread to his spinal cord. He traveled to California not long after to enter hospice near his family. Knight was 36.
