A government traffic safety official mistakently screened a pornographic video during a road safety lecture, according to Mainichi Newspapers.
Police said an official at the Chikugo driver’s license examination center in the Fukuoka Prefecture aired videos regularly during traffic safety lectures where the incident occurred. The porn video was aired just before the class began. About 1,600 drivers were at the facility when the video was screened.
Fukuoka is located in Japan’s southern tip, near the city of Nagasaki.
Police said the incident likely took place because there had been a shortage of traffic safety videos forcing officials to tape over the material onto other tapes.
