The Porn Poker Tour has released the planned format for this summer’s Internext Expo, Aug. 4 to 6 in Hollywood, Fla.
The event will be a shoot-out style tournament held just outside the show floor. Short, fast qualifying rounds will dominate the first two days of the expo, with the main event taking place on the second day. The change in format was necessary because many of last year’s qualified players were unable make the tournament on the final day of the trade show.
The Porn Poker Tour is a series of Texas Hold ’Em tournaments being sponsored by several companies.
The main event will begin at 6 p.m. on Aug. 5 and finish prior to most of the events scheduled for that evening. There will be 100 qualifying seats available for the main event; to qualify, players must finish in the top 30 of one of the two qualifying rounds or in the top three of one of 13 single-table satellite tournaments. The first-place winner will receive up to $5,000 (a share of more than $12,500 in total prize money).

There are no fees to enter the tournament, and it is open to all adults with an Internext show floor pass. The sum of the prize money has been put up by sponsors of the PPT, including NetBilling, AdultInsider.com, PlugInFeeds, Eroticy, SammySmack, DatingGold.com, CamZ.com, and MPA3.
