Most twenty-something women prefer silence during sex and many would go all the way for money, according to a poll published in the November issue of Jane magazine.
According to this nationwide Internet poll , women think about sex almost as much as men, with 54 percent wanting it every day but only 15 percent getting it that often.
“I guess what struck me most was how enthusiastic all the responses were,” said Katy McColl, Jane’s senior editor.
Two percent of the 3,740 participants in the poll said they were virgins.
The poll showed 51 percent of the women like things quiet when they’re intimate, and if there needs to be music, 17 percent preferred the jazzy riffs of Norah Jones.
And roughly one in five answered “yes” when asked it they would have sex for money.
According to Jane, some 70 percent of those polled were in a monogamous relationship, including 21 percent who had nicknames for their partner’s genitalia.
But 36 percent admitted cheating on their partner, and 28 percent said they’ve had a threesome.
And finally, a stat most likely to spur men to perform better: 34 percent of the women tell their friends about “the good stuff” and 8 percent offer a play-by-play analysis.
