Five men were arrested for allegedly having sex with each other in an adult video store, and on the same night, at a nearby strip club, five women were arrested for allegedly masturbating on stage.
Kennedale police, working with Grand Prairie undercover vice officers as part of an interdepartmental agreement, have been investigating both the XXX Super Store Video and the Fantasy Foxx strip club since October after receiving complaints about alleged sex acts given on the premises of the two businesses.
At Fantasy Foxx, an all-nude club, undercover officers said they witnessed female dancers performing sex acts on themselves onstage. The club was closed down around 9p.m. so that a masked officer and his partner could identify the women they intend to charge.
According to the Forth Worth Star-Telegram, undercover officers report that they saw male customers having sex with each other through glory holes in the store's video viewing booths. Four of the men were arrested on public lewdness charges, and one was arrested on an indecent exposure charge.
"We targeted two of the probably worst offenders," Kennedale Police Chief Jim Rutledge told the Star-Telegram. "The message needs to go out to all the businesses that they need to clean it up. We have the resources and staffing now to enforce the ordinances and obscenity laws.
The business owners are not facing any charges, though repeat offenses could lead their establishments being shut down.
