Nashville police have arrested a man suspected in a string of strip club robberies.
Larry Donnell Ridley was arrested Sunday without incident after being on the Police’s Central Precinct’s Top Ten Most Wanted list for several weeks, WKRN-TV reported.
Ridley, who has a history of petty crimes, allegedly robbed Ken’s Gold Club, the Executive Gentlemen’s Club, Al’s showplace and Christie’s in recent months. He was said to have tried to break into the Déjà vu club but failed, police said.
The robberies took place after hours and witnesses said the suspect knew where the money was in each instance.
Fingerprints and video tape surveillance footage was used to identify the suspect.
Ridley told police that he was broke and needed the money from the robberies to pay his expenses.
