Playboy and Penthouse may make adult movies for portable video players, like Apple Computers’ new iPod, to capitalize on soaring demand for the devices, according to a Bloomberg News report.
The story said both company's magazines are suffering from slumping revenue so they are developing video products to bolster profit.
"When you look at what has driven the emerging technology for media distribution over the last 50 years, it's music and adult content," David Bank, an analyst for RBC Capital Markets in New York, told Bloomberg News. "It seems like a natural fit."
