Platinum Blue Productions has signed with Jill Kelly Productions to distribute all JKP product, and Platinum Blue co-owner Dean Sussman will act as liaison between the two companies.
“We will be handling all sales of Jill Kelly Productions, including its 500 title library and its new releases - up to 20 per month,” Sussman said.
Sussman had a previous tour of duty at JKP. In 2002, he was director of sales and left a year later to work for another company.
Jill Kelly Productions earlier this year filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Chapter 11 bankruptcies allow a debtor to enter into an agreement with creditors under which all or a part of the business continues. The debts of the business are restructured so as to allow the debtor to continue business operation.
“By bringing Platinum Blue Productions on board, this will bring stability and increased sales to Jill Kelly Productions,” Sussman said.
Platinum Blue is co-owned by director Skye Blue and performer Nick Manning.
Sussman said that Jill Kelly would be handling all director and production duties of new releases.
