Platinum Blue has released its second installment of American Porn Star. The reality-based title centers on the day-to-day experiences of America's porn talent.
Directed by Platinum Blue CEO Sky Blue, American Pornstar 2 follows Evan "Safari" Stone as he takes viewers deep into Simi Valley to expose the secrets of up- and-coming talent. Male performer Mikey Butders is the focus of the latest installment, along with Penny Flame, Jada Fire, Marey Carey, Jasmine Klein and Jessica Jaymes.
"Nick Manning [was the focus of] of the first one, and he came to me and told me this might be a good way to put my stamp on the industry," Butders, who is featured in two scenes, explained to AVN.com. "I thought it was a great idea, and the movie turned out great…really high quality performances.
"It's basically a movie about making a movie," continued Butders. "[The movie] follows me around the set…it's pretty true to life, an every day experience."
To celebrate the release of the title, Platinum Blue will be sponsoring an 'American Porn Star' night at Porn Star Karaoke on Tuesday at Sardo's in Burbank. Butders and friends will be there to promote the film with free copies, as well as posters from the skydiving action feature Airgazmic.
