Solo is “a journey of intimacy and boundary breaking featuring Edandress, an erotic performer from Chile," a provided description details. "Amidst an explosion of neon lights and desires, Valenzuela blends fluidity and explicit intimacy around an expanded experience. More than just cinema, it's an invitation to break taboos and stretch boundaries.”

The movie explores the life and work of Edandress, a Chilean performer and erotic content creator, as he embarks on a journey through various milestones, from his upbringing in Melipilla to the reality of entering the erotic industry.

Directed by Valenzuela and produced by Cinéculo, “the film embodies the metaphor of dilation as the protagonist opens his personal space to the camera. It addresses themes such as consent, revealing in the everyday what pleasure means to him, breaking away from a restrictive and guilt-ridden society, and experiencing absolute freedom by letting go and allowing himself to explore,” the description continues.

"I work with members of the LGBTQI+ community and allies in both Chile and Argentina, supporting an activist and integrative approach toward collective development within society,” Valenzuela said. "I have collaborated with various artists and collectives, establishing my work as a videographer and filmmaker documenting artistic expressions from the local trans feminist scene and sexual dissidence activism."

A multidisciplinary “marika artist,” Valenzuela is the creator of the web archive Registro Contracultural, a platform dedicated to the digital preservation of Latin American sex-dissident artistic memories.
