Pineapple Support Launches ‘Release the Pressure’ Group

LOS ANGELES—Pineapple Support, the adult industry mental health nonprofit, will host a free, online support group focused on stress management and building resilience.

The six-week support group, "Release the Pressure," will be led by Pineapple Support therapist Bridget Bycina and will begin on Tuesday, April 7 at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CET. Sessions will take place online and run weekly at the same time.

“Stress is an unavoidable part of life, but learning to manage it effectively can make all the difference. This group will provide a safe, supportive space for individuals coping with pressure from work, relationships, caregiving, school, or life's many demands. Participants will explore healthy coping strategies, gain tools to build resilience, and connect with others who understand the weight of everyday stress,” a Pineapple Support representative said.

"Feeling overwhelmed or burnt out doesn't mean you're failing, it means you're human," said Bycina. "In this group, we'll slow down together, share experiences honestly, and explore practical ways to decompress and restore balance. My goal is for every participant to leave each session feeling a little lighter and better equipped to handle whatever life throws at them."

Pineapple Support was founded by British performer Leya Tanit in 2018, following a series of tragic losses in the adult industry due to depression and other mental health challenges. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the United States, has connected more than 19,000 adult industry professionals with mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling and emotional support.

"Chronic stress takes a real toll on mental and physical health, and so many in our community are carrying more than they let on," said Tanit. "'Release the Pressure' offers a place to breathe, connect, and start building healthier habits together. We're deeply grateful to SextPanther for sponsoring this group and helping ensure these resources remain accessible to those who need them most."
