CYBERSPACE—Pineapple Support, an adult industry mental health nonprofit, will host a free, online support group, “Eating Disorders & Disordered Eating,” for performers dealing with eating-related issues and body image concerns.
This six-week support group will provide a safe and supportive environment to explore personal relationships with food, body and self. Led by Pineapple Support therapist Claire Fountain, the group will begin on Tuesday, December 10, at 11 a.m. PT/8 p.m. CT.
Sessions will last approximately one hour and will take place weekly on Tuesdays until January 14.
“Whether you’re experiencing an eating disorder or struggling with body image, this group is a chance to find support, community, and understanding,” Fountain said. “We’ll work together to build a healthier relationship with food and body, focusing on support and shared resources to foster healing and self-acceptance.”
“Healing our relationship with food and body image is an important part of mental wellness,” says Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit. “This support group will offer individuals a compassionate and guided space to openly explore these challenges, with the support of our experienced therapists.”
