LOS ANGELES—Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health nonprofit, is launching a free, online support group dedicated to individuals who are or suspect they may be on the autism spectrum. Sponsored by Chaturbate, the six-week “Spectrum Support Group” will be led by Pineapple Support therapist Haley O’Bryan and will begin at 8 p.m. EST on Monday, April 7th.
“This group provides a gentle, embracing space where members can share their experiences and gain insight on how to navigate life as a neurodivergent individual,” says O’Bryan. “Together, we will explore strategies for self-care, social interaction, and personal empowerment, all while fostering a supportive and understanding community.”
Pineapple Support was founded by British performer Leya Tanit in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has connected over 14,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.
“We are incredibly grateful to Chaturbate for their support in launching this much-needed group,” says Tanit. “Performers on the autism spectrum face unique challenges in both their personal and professional lives. This group will offer a safe and inclusive space for them to connect, share, and receive support tailored to their needs.”
The Spectrum Support Group will run for six weeks, with each session lasting 60 minutes. For more information and to reserve a spot, visit pineapplesupport.org/support-
