Peter North Responds to Braincash Lawsuit

In response to a June 5 story, Peter North on Wednesday addressed his position regarding the HVL Cyberweb Solutions breach of contract lawsuit against NorthPole Enterprises in Orange County Superior Court.

In a prepared statement, North said, "I was in negotiation with Braincash after I informed them that I was leaving so we can have a smooth transition and the next thing I knew is they had unilaterally decided to withhold all payments and filled a lawsuit.

“Never once did I attempt to terminate the agreement earlier then intended, in addition, I gave the appropriate notice that I did not want to renew this contract within the delay provided in the agreement between North Pole and Braincash.

“Although I am interested in settling this matter out of court, I can’t negotiate with a company that continues to use my intellectual property without paying me according to our agreement. I believe Braincash thought I would be more inclined to negotiate after they stop paying money owned to me and after they filed the lawsuit, which is definitely not the case.”

The agreement in question between Peter North and BrainCash, which comes to an end this summer, is regarding the management of North's assets on the Internet, namely his website, and the rights to Peter North videos.

In speaking with North, he says the domain name Peternorth.com has never been sold to anyone and belongs solely to him.
