LOS ANGELES—Penthouse magazine has announced that its October 2023 Pet of the Month is glamour model and artist Roxy Shaw.
Describing some of her best qualities as “caring, loyal, empathetic, courageous and adventurous,” Shaw says her favorite way to stay connected with friends is via Facebook. “On Facebook, I have friends that date back all the way to elementary school, high school and college. Some of the funniest content I see on a regular basis comes from Facebook because people I grew up with are truly hysterical.”
It was the experience of friends that also led Shaw to model for Penthouse magazine. “Two of my friends, Riley Anne and Meaghan Stanfill, shot for Penthouse and they both shared very fond experiences.”
Originally from Tennessee, the grounded artist with aspirations of traveling the world confesses that her dreams once consisted of loftier heights. “I’ve always wanted to be an astronaut because of my infatuation with space. Although, upon aging, I realized I am not very good at math/science,” Shaw says. “I excel in the arts, humanities and communications. For this reason, I would say that being a commercially successful artist would be a dream come true.”
