Penthouse Media Group Inc., the parent company of Penthouse magazine, recently named Hope Brick to the new position of vice president of merchandising.
Brick, who is responsible for the day-to-day merchandising operations of the global licensing group, joined PMGI on May 8. Her daily operative tasks include, but are not limited to: implementing all merchandising policies and programs; directing buyers, vendors, selection and supplies for wholesale and retail outlets; gross margin planning and analysis and accountability for sales and licensing relationships in all licensing categories.
Brick comes to Penthouse from the May Department Stores where she served as vice president fashion director of the Houston based Foley’s. She was then promoted to vice president design director for May Department Stores International. Most recently, Brick was vice president fashion director for Robinsons May, Meier & Frank.
Additionally, she was both a fashion director and a buyer for Macy’s Department Stores
for nearly 10 years.
“We expect to be setting trends and not just following them,” said Penthouse President of Licensing, Mark Rudolph, “and that’s where Hope and her significant experience will
play an integral role in the continued success of the PMGI licensing group. Hope is
seasoned, trendy and has a trained eye for style and we’re delighted to have her join the
team.”
Brick added, “I look forward to building a lifestyle collection of consumer apparel and
accessories that will reflect the magazine and the growing demographic that looks to
Penthouse for its leadership in the adult venue and beyond."
Brick works out of the Los Angeles office and reports directly to Rudolph. Additionally, she is a graduate of the University of Kansas and holds a B.S. degree in Journalism.
