Paulo Banana’s new series for Acid Rain is a natural breast tape, but doesn’t qualify as a fetish tape. That’s because breasts aren’t the focus of the video. All of the women in I Love Them Natural have natural breasts because for some people fake boobs are a major turnoff.
Banana, who recently immigrated to the United States from Brazil, says that’s true for the majority of men in his homeland.
“In Brazil the girls don’t have necessarily big breasts, like the American girls. You don’t see that many girls with big breasts. But they have pretty good size. And most of them are natural,” Banana told AVN.com “It’s like a crime to not have natural breasts. The guys would get turned off by it. It was a big thing that we’ll talk about in bars and the corners of the streets.”
Making I Love Them Natural was a collaborative process between Banana and Acid Raid owner Mitch Spinelli, as are all of the series that Banana directs for Acid Rain.
“He comes up with the titles, basically, and he tells me what he would like to have. We discuss about it things that I like, things that I would like to have,” Banana said. And then he tells me things that he would like to have, and how he sees it. And then we get a common sense of the video, what we will do.”
I Love Em Natural evolved from a vignette tape to a gonzo during the production process, which led to some interesting scenes such as Banana’s favorite scene in the initial volume of the series, one that paired Corina Taylor with Ben Brat.
In the original vignette-style setup, Ben Brat’s going to surf and Corina Taylor wants him to stay home with because she’s horny and Brat doesn’t pay enough attention to her. “So we cut that all off and we have her doing the tease, and then he walks in and we go right into the blowjob. He takes advantage of the props we had, and he kinda plays around with those cinch straps on the surfboard,” Banana said.
“He used the straps as a way to hold her by the neck, and then he sticks her panties into her pussy and pulls it out on his dick. The scene was very intense and the original concept left it’s mark, creating a unique scene,” Banana said.
Banana says that all of the scenes turned out great, noting that he had a strong cast to work with on this tape. Manuel Ferrara and Steve Holmes perform in two d.p.’s – one with Katchya and one with Jasmine Lynn. Katsumi appears in an anal scene with Lee Stone, Tiffany Terse performs a d.p. with Mr. Pete and Ben Bratt, and Dana Vespoli performs with Ben English in an anal scene.
Banana notes that directing is a different experience in Brazil than it in the United States that can be summed up in one word: professionalism
“When you’re directing in Brazil, the girls and the guys, they’re not necessarily porn stars. They’re not into the porn business, per se. They’re in a whole box of life, and they’re just doing some extra job doing porn,” Banana said. “And again, they really don’t care about the whole thing, so they don’t know the professional way of doing things. So the more you pay, the more jobs you give them, the nicer they will treat you and more stuff they’ll give to you.
“Here, it’s just you walk in and you will have to deal with some prima donnas, and by that I mean guys and girls on the sets, but most of the time they are aware of what they are going to be doing beforehand. They come prepared. And so, I think, in a way it’s easier to work, to deal with the talent here.
“Other than that the only difference is the prices,” he said.
