Password-by-Phone Adds Cantonese

Global billing processor Password-by-Phone has added the Cantonese language to its IP-geotargeted global phone-billing solution. Password-by-Phone enables users to obtain a password in order to enter a protected members area with one call, minus the inconveniences of downloads, credit cards, dialers, or simultaneous phone lines.

“This will help convert traffic from Hong Kong, Macao, and southern China,” says Password-by-Phone’s Business Development Manager Marc Jarrett. “With 66 million speakers, this market segment is simply too big to ignore.”

Password-by-Phone offers IP-geotargeting, which invites surfers to call a premium number that grants access to webmasters’ own sites, or one of the company’s own niche websites (more than 30 available.) Password-by-Phone pays partners up to $10 per password from the customers webmasters bring to their site.

“Surfers will be pleasantly surprised to be ‘sold to’ in their own native language,” says Jarrett. “And, they like the convenience and anonymity that phone billing gives them. Great for the spontaneous purchase!”

The Swiss founders have been pioneers in the pay-per-call industry since 1994 and have paid in excess of $250 million to their partners during that time.bazrburs47928.gif
