Danni Ashe has reigned as the Internet's most downloaded woman, but self-styled erotic music artist Pacovelli - whose style includes music videos that are unabashedly hardcore adult entertainment - is claiming himself as the Internet's most downloaded man.
It isn't yet verifiable, but Pacovelli is staking his claim based on his having released what's considered the most downloaded music single in Internet history to date, "Naked," from his forthcoming album, Act 3: The Creation. The Arkansan released it as a free full download and reached over 10 million downloads with the track. Pacovelli also claims his title based on over a million downloads of images of him.
Guinness World Records recognized Ashe, the dancer/actress/adult Internet enterpreneur whose Website became one of the most popular in cyberspace, as the World's Most Downloaded Woman in 2000, beating out actress Cindy Margolis. But an attempt to search the Guinness Internet database for Pacovelli turned up no records, although it's possible that the feat hasn't yet been given official sanction.
