Oscar Favors Female Nudity, Says Mr.Skin

Using "Skinenomics" a scientifically designed calculation model, Mr. Skin determined that actresses who appeared "bare-on-screen" are more apt to win an Academy Award for Best Actress, compared to their clad co-nominees.

Mr. Skin noticed some interesting statistics. Every Best Actress Oscar winner since 1988 has gone naked on camera (many in the very film for which they were nominated). Mr. Skin also noticed that, beginning in the 1960s (the dawn of bare skin in Hollywood productions), incidents of nudity among nominees for Best Actress have risen dramatically each decade.

Skinenomics, however, is flawed for predicting the upcoming winners during the 73rd annual Academy Awards, since every 2007 Best Actress nominee has done a nude scene at least once in her career.

So, it may be true that "[the] road to the Best Actress Oscar is paved with the discarded costumes of thespians who dare to bare," Mr. Skin expressed. This year, Mr. Skin is no closer to picking the Best Actress Oscar winner than the rest of us.
