NYC Man Taps City Account to Buy Porn

A former maintenance worker from the Bronx was arraigned Saturday on larceny and fraud charges for allegedly using a city bank account to pay for internet porn.

According the Associated Press, prosecutors say Duwinn McClelland used a city bank account number from his workers' compensation checks to tap into city funds. Over a three-and-a-half year period, McClelland charged $4,000 in monthly membership payments to two adult websites using the name 'John Awesome'.

Investigators are now trying to determine whether the scam was related in any way to another man's $3.6 million theft from the same account. A judge set $2,500 bail for McClelland.
