Two Norwegian environmentalists were fined over $2,000 for having sex on stage while a band called the Cumshots played in front of 4,000 fans at a Norwegian rock festival yesterday.
According to the Website for TV2, a Norwegian television station, Kristopher Schau, lead singer for the Cumshots, had pre-arranged for Tommy Hol Ellingsen, 28, and Leana Johansson, 21, to come on stage to promote their Website – and of course, the site’s corresponding cause.
Ellingsen and Johanssan operate fuckforforest.com, a Website that they started in an attempt to raise money for various environmental organizations. Visitors to the site can pay $15 for 30-day subscription to their site to watch videos of Ellingsen having sex with Johansson, his girlfriend. The couple hopes that other couples, and even professional porn stars, will donate adult videos for the site as well. Profits are earmarked for saving the rainforest.
In the middle of the Cumshots set at the Quart music festival the couple came on stage and took off their clothes and begin to have sex. The couple had sex for approximately ten minutes, and then left to applause from the crowd when they were done. TV2 did not indicate if Ellingsen ejaculated or not.
A banner was raised on the stage informing the audience that the couple was having sex to save the rainforest.
“Today’s environmentalists have become more politicians than idealists,” Ellingsen told TV 2. “We want to bring forth the message with attitude.”
No one filed a complaint with the police, but after word of the live sex performance spread, Ellingsen and Johansson, as well as all five members of the Cumshots were fined for 10,000 kroner, a little over $2,000. Elligsen, for one, does not intend to pay the fine.
"No, that fine is ridiculous. There'll be no fine here, there'll be a legal process and the whole shebang," Tommy Hol Ellingsen told TV2.
Fuckforforest.com launched earlier this year, and Ellingsen had previously reported that with 200 subscribers, the venture had still yet to turn a profit – but he hoped that with more publicity the profit would be enough to donate two-thirds of the money from subscriptions.
No doubt, Fuckforforest.com is now getting the publicity it needs.
