NorthStar Associates and Ducati Productions have ended their distribution agreement.
In a statement, NorthStar Marketing Director Michael Atkins said Wednesday that the parting is an amicable one. NorthStar had been distributing Ducati titles since 2003.
“NorthStar Associates would like to wish Mr. Ducati all the best in his future endeavors,” he said of Kevin Ducati, the company’s owner.
Ducati said he was thankful to NorthStar owners Peter North and Richie Zaye for helping his company grow and is now looking to distribute his own titles.
“Working with Peter and Richie has been the biggest boost for our company. They’ve done a lot for us,” Ducati said.
“We’ve been thinking about taking that next step and now we’re doing it. We want to distribute our own titles and now we’re working on purchasing a warehouse to get that started.”
Ducati Productions was established in 2001 and is known for its lines such as Strap On Chicks, Pigtail Cuties, Strap it to Me, and Welcome to the Bunghole.
The company is scheduled to release Strap On Chicks #19, starring Heather Hunt, now known as Vivid Girl Tiffany Taylor, and Holly Halston. The title is set for release next month.
