The new distribution company started by Peter North, the formation of which was announced on AVN.com earlier this month, is bigger than originally reported according to AVN Hall of Fame performer-director and now distributor that the company is named after.
North Star Associates will launch on November 1 distributing a couple hundred titles, the works of four production companies: North Pole Productions, Zaye Entertainment, North-Moorehead Productions and Ducati Productions.
North, who will celebrate his twentieth year in the adult entertainment industry next spring, sees the establishment of his own distribution company as the logical next step in his career.
“I’m taking that final step onto the frontier,” North told AVN.com. I had an incredible relationship with New Sensations. They’ve always supported me on any decisions I’ve made, as I have supported theirs. This was a difficult decision that I made because it was the only way for me to advance my business.
Zaye Entertainment will be continuingTranny Hunter, Butt Lovers, Rectal Rooter, Pussy Footin’ and launch a new series called Trannies Gone Solo.
Maximum Thrust, a fast cars themed porn series, will be produced under the North-Moorehead banner. North- Moorehead was recently launched to produce joint-projects between North and his long time cameraman Craven Moorehead,
Moorehead will be also launching a new series Busta Nut on Sluts, but will also continue to be North’s cameraman. “I’m very happy with the progression he’s made throughout the few year’s he’s been in the business and the quality of the equipment he’s acquired. My editor has given me great feedback on his work. He’s going to be a large part of this growing process – not only as a cameraman but as a director as well.”
Ducati Productions will be bringing their Strapon Girls series, featuring women with strapons sodomizing men, previouslyonly available on the Internet.
And North himself will continue his series that were distributed by New Sensations as well as create new ones.
North Pole Entertainment will be the banner under which the series are North Pole, his long-running signature series, Deep Throat This!, and Anal Addicts will be produced. North is also looking forward to creating his first interracial series, a hardcore anal series, a Latin series, and a young girl line.
“With the amount of titles that I had I was doing pretty well. With the titles that New Sensations was putting out and me trying to start more, it was getting pretty crowded,” North said, explaining the planned increase in production.
“We will be doing things a little differently. There will be no soft core. Things will have a harder edge. We’ll also be pursuing some of the male talent, trying to lock them down,” North said.
On November 4, Anal Addicts 14 will become the first VHS title and North Pole 42 will become the first DVD released by North Star Associates,
On November 11, the first Strapon Chics will be released in both VHS and DVD formats, the first day-and-date release for the company.
“I’m looking forward to meeting everyone at the AEE show. I want to put faces to the names of the buyers and let them know personally that North Star Associates will always place customer service above the bottom line,” North added.
