Brandon Blackburn recently launched Blackburn Entertainment to make adult features and stylized wall-to-wall videos in the vein of his mentor, Michael Ninn, and Andrew Blake. Blackburn spent the last eight years working with Ninn – earning his chops as a production assistant and rising to producer.

"I thought I was finally ready," Blackburn told AVN.com. "After learning at the footstools of Andrew and Michael, I thought I learned enough to go out on my own."
Look, style and commitment to detail are aspects of making porn that Blackburn learned from working closely with Ninn over the years. "Don't short change the customers. If you aren't paying attention to the details, you aren't taking care of them," Blackburn explained.
"Michael has a style, Andrew has a style, John Stagliano – who I'm a big fan of – has a style, even if it's more first-person. It's important the directors develop their own style," said Blackburn, who describes his own style as high-end glamour with hardcore sex.
"Michael has more of a techno-industrial style, whereas my own work is a little more glam orientated, classic Vogue>, just letting the girls be the center of attention," Blackburn said.
Blackburn has already canned the first installment of his new series, Forbiden Dreams, and is already in post for the second installment.
Forbidden Dreams is a wall-to-wall video that follows a man's journey through his life. He sells his soul to the devil for one sex act, then lives out the rest of his life as a voyeur unable to participate in sex. Sexually the video has five sex scenes, including one period piece with Nina Dolci and fetish performer Jewel Marceau set in the 1940s that Blackburn considers the best scene in the video.
"It's a hot scene. The look for Jewel is great. She's got corsets and garters and some screaming red pumps on," Blackburn told AVN.com. "It starts with both girls masturbating then works up to both of them putting on strap-ons. It really works." The rest of the video is shot in a contemporary setting, though Blackburn attempts to give each scene its own theme and stylistic look.
Other performers in the video include: Sierra, Rebecca Love, Victoria Style, Sabrina, Dino Bravo, Jake White, Frank Gun, John Hall and Doc D.
Forbidden Dreams #2 , starring Devon Michaels and Kelly Madison, is already in post.
