Nicholas Steele, Lucky Media Make Distribution Deal

Director Nicholas Steele and his company Nicholas Steele Productions have teamed up with Lucky Media/Tightfit Productions on a distribution deal.

Nicholas Steele Productions, formerly known as Ultimate Pictures when partnered with Adam & Eve, was one of the first companies to shoot high-definition movies. Lucky Media has been involved in adult magazine distribution for the last 30 years and, with the partnership with NSP, has added DVD format adult entertainment to their product stable.

Oren Cohen, president of Lucky Media/Tightfit Productions, said that the move to add adult titles to their repertoire was a logical and necessary progression for this family-owned operation. “We already had the vast clientele network,” said Cohen, “and as the future of all media is relatively unstable in this technological age, diversification becomes a survival tactic. We chose to partner with Nicholas Steele not only because of his consistent high quality, but because of his vast experience with HD.”

“My theory is not to just jump in the game,” Cohen continued, “but jump ahead of everyone else in the game.”

Steele abides by this theory as well and is optimistic about the union.

“This merger brings adult distribution into a whole new level of professionalism,” Steele said. "Before now, porn has been very segregated in its marketing strategy. This is a more evolved, cross-media approach that rightfully legitimizes erotica’s place in an advanced world of media sales, promotion and distribution.”

Both companies look forward to a long and successful future.
