Nexus Net Cards to Launch Valentine's Day

The official launch of Nexus Net Cards' prepaid debit cards has been delayed until Valentine's Day, in order to let the company put a redundant network and security system into place and test it properly, Nexus Net announced February 3.

“We would rather take it slow and get it right," said Nexus Net president Robert Bowen, announcing the change, "rather than risk a problem.”

Marketing director Angela Schnaubelt said Nexus Net would use the delay time also to re-evaluate its fee structure and launch with what she called "more attractive discount rates for Web merchants," though she didn't hint at what those might be just yet.

The Nexus Net Card – which will be sold online and at various brick-and-mortar stores – is a prepaid debit card that allows users to shop online or at retail stores without a credit card or bank account debit, giving users anonymity and protection against identity theft and the affiliate Webmasters and sponsoring merchants freedom from expensive chargebacks.
