MONTREAL—Adult Time banner Transfixed has released a brand new episode of its AVN Award-nominated spinoff series Transgressive Films titled "Getting to Know You," with Janelle Fennec and Ana Foxx starring under the direction of Anatomik Media.
According to a company announcement, "Ana Foxxx plays Carrie, a woman who spots a familiar face at her front door. She greets a woman named Monique (Fennec) who introduces herself, then announces she used to be Carrie’s fiancé Devon before coming out as her true self. After an exchange of heated words, Carrie asks Monique to leave—but not before Monique leaves her number and the opportunity to meet again if she so chooses."
“Always trying to give more to our trans content fans on the platform, we have brought back the original Transfixed spin-off series Transgressive Films for more episodes,” Adult Time director of marketing Frank Stacy said. “Our audience can expect more of the same story-driven dramatic offerings that made the first episodes released earlier in 2021 a success.”
After the release of five episodes last year, the scenario-driven series from the creators of Pure Taboo aims with its returning slate of installments to "further treat viewers to an intriguing look into the lives of trans stars’ unique personal journeys."
“What inspired us to create this bittersweet story is the fact that every journey is different, and no matter what, sometimes people get hurt along the way ... even those we love most,” added Midnight, who wrote the script for this episode. “We wanted to show one such example of this, with two exes coming to terms with the emotional turmoil they've both experienced. The road to self-discovery can be a bumpy one, but at least in this touching tale, it won't be one ultimately traveled alone.”
