Director/producer Stoney Curtis has developed a new Website called pornstarperformance.com, which will launch on April 8 and is designed for adult producers and directors to have a “porn star report card.”
The purpose of the site is for producers and directors to report their daily experiences with adult talent in an effort to save time and frustration with future bookings.
“We report to each other the girls who don’t show up, who don’t show up with tests, no IDs. It’s instant karma for them,” Curtis told AVN.com. “If they do a lousy scene or if they don’t show up and don’t call, producers and directors can log on there and notify other producers.”
He said that if the porn star flaking is documented for the producer community to see that it could “revolutionize” the way the industry books talent.
“It will save producers time, money and effort,” Curtis, the owner of Celestial Productions and Lethal Hardcore, said. “It’s a way for us to review and rate the talent. The only ones who will be able to join the site are producers, people who are creating adult video content. Talent will not be given a password.”
Curtis said there would be no cursing allowed on the site because, “We don’t want people bashing talent.”
“This will be info for business professionals who happen to work in the adult industry,” he said. “There are a lot of people out there who are unprofessional who are holding you back, and I’m tired of it. If we unite, 200 producers reporting back to each other, maybe I will want to think twice about hiring her or him. Porn stars are going to have a report card now.”
Curtis continued, “Once you have pornstarperformance.com working for you, once it’s saved one of your shoots, you’re going to rely on it, week-to-week. We are funding the cost of the design and bandwidth. It’s free for a producer to join.”
Curtis, who said he already has received positive feedback from numerous producers in the industry who would support the site, emphasized that it is not intended for bashing people, nor is it a “gossip” site.
