DVDsForABuck has announced the site is now under new ownership and has been upgraded with a site relaunch.
The site, which was established in 2003, offers members a “movie club,” through which customers receive five adult DVDs for $1 as a bonus for becoming a member. Each month of membership allows customers to select up to two DVDs with free shipping and handling.
“While we are focusing on new and exciting products and programs for the webmaster and customer, we are staying true to the movie club concept that started it all,” says new owner Pamela Butkowski.
“We feel strongly that this club is an affordable way for the adult movie collector to select the movies that they want to own, and since there are no minimums to buy or contracts, they can quit when their collection is complete,” says Butkowski. “The DVD market is still strong. There are still lots of people who don’t want to watch porn while sitting at their computer—assuming that their computer is capable of completing the download.”
The company offers two sites for consumers: DVDsForABuck.com and GayDVDsForABuck.com. Both offer thousands of DVDs, with new movies and studios added regularly.
Version 2.0 of the site is offering several features for both customers and webmasters. Customers now can take advantage of the “studio of the month” program, wherein customers can locate titles to form collections or the newest releases with special offers that can help build a member’s collection.
Webmasters receive payouts from $25-$30 per sign-up with a 10-percent webmaster referral fee and various promotional banners.
