Crystal Climax wants to expand its Web presence. To that end, the glass erotica maker is about to open a new partnership Website for exclusive retail sales of Crystal Climax products and a new affiliate program for adult Webmasters.
Crystal Climax products will be sold at retail online through SimplyPassion.com, which the company said is now under construction and could be finished within 30 days.
"It came about through a meeting we had a couple of years ago at an AVN Expo," said Crystal Climax chief Sunny Simmons of the sales site partnership with Entertainment Images Consultants (EIC). "And we reinitiated it this year and began the partnership process."
Simmons said that's part of a new plan to broaden the company's Web presence. "It involves a whole new Web team and we feel it's going to broaden our sales on the Internet," he said. "And it's going to allow us to work with a whole lot of other sites and Webmasters via our affiliate program. We're really just wanting to broaden ourselves on the Web, and if we started affiliates we'd be able to work with larger distributors and smaller Websites as well.
EIC spokesman Sanford Wilk said the SimplyPassion site will be for retail sales. "It is not the source for wholesale purchases of the products," Wilk said, "but it will offer a comprehensive affiliate program, where Webmasters can sign up to earn a healthy 25 percent commission on all Crystal Climax products.
"These products are manufactured by hand and are not mass produced," Wilk continued. "They are available in a variety of sizes shapes and colors, and, again, will be for sale exclusively on the Web through SimplyPassion.com."
Going for such an exclusive online retail venture is a somewhat radical venture for Crystal Climax and Entertainment Image Consultants because, Wilk said, EIC will also offer SimplyPassion as an exclusive on its other adult Website properties as part of the Crystal Climax deal.
Crystal Climax produces what Simmons calls mostly high-end glass erotica. "We pride ourselves in our work," he said. "The main features where we feel we're outstanding is, we have a high quality control program and we have liability insurance on everything we make and sell, and we have a strict control program to make sure our products are safe and will last forever if properly cared for."
