New Gay Industry Conference to Kick Off 9th Annual GAYVN Awards

AVN Media Network announced today that a new industry-related, comprehensive three-day conference will take place in San Francisco Thursday, Feb. 22, through Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007.

The conference, named the GAYVN Summit 2007, will be held at the W Hotel in San Francisco.

"The GAYVN Summit will be the first annual gay adult entertainment summit geared towards the entire gay adult entertainment industry," said Chad Beecher, AVN vice president of business relations. "It’s a new strategic conference developed with a specific focus on business and technology. The Summit will provide a quality environment for sharp-minded business people to foster relationships and make valuable connections."

The GAYVN Summit is designed to bring leading professionals from all sectors together to participate in sensual-themed seminars, specialty functions and off-site evening parties. The Summit reflects the explosive growth in gay adult entertainment — encompassing everything from additional revenue streams to the latest technology and strategic programs that are paving the way for the entire industry, said Beecher.

"The GAYVN Summit is an excellent idea," said Todd Montgomery, Falcon Studios president and chief executive officer. "We are all facing similar challenges that are transforming our industry: regulatory issues, technology, Web 2.0 and the next phase of the Internet. Bringing together a cross-section of professionals from inside and outside the gay adult industry will give us the opportunity to learn from each other. Falcon Studios is really looking forward to this new forum."

The ninth annual GAYVN Awards show will be held on February 24, 2007, in San Francisco. Over 1,400 Awards ceremony and Summit attendees are expected to participate in the February events, which will make the three days and nights in San Francisco the largest gay adult entertainment industry event in the world.

Summit attendees will be able to register online beginning Oct. 15, 2006, at GAYVNsummit.com. This event has limited availability, so early reservations are advisable.
