Vixeo.com, the site that offers users access to more than 1000 DVD titles with one password, has announced added functionality to its program.
The site is incorporating a “try before you buy” concept as incentive for user subscriptions that will assist with increased revenue for webmasters.
The site will introduce up to three trailers per week. A trailer will consist of a scene cut into mini five- to seven-second clips that are then combined together.
Users will be able to identify a “trailer available” watermark on screen captures and DVD covers.
Other changes are in store for the site, which will include the introduction of high-definition (HD) DVD content available to Vixeo.com members at full resolution (720x480.) Tabs reading “HD DVD” will mark content.
“We are very excited about this opportunity,” the company says in a press release.
