Hoping to move to the forefront of the billion-dollar adult Web market, adult video producer Metro, Inc. has signed an Internet support and traffic-sharing deal with Interactive Telecom Network and Interactive Gallery.
The deal encompasses all Metro web sites, including the soon-to-be-launched www.amazingsex.com full screen, full motion adult web site. It also calls for creating a new pay-per-view live feed site, www.amazinglive.com, with both Metro and IGallery participating in revenues and the feed offered to thousands of adult webmasters already contracted with IG.
"IGallery and ITN are the leaders in their fields," says Metro vice president Greg Alves. He says their superior infrastructure, traffic management, and overall understanding of the adult Web business made them the first choice for this kind of deal.
ITN will provide all necessary technical support to run Metro Web sites, including hosting, systems administration and management, network security solutions, customer service, and fully-automated credit card clearing.
IGallery's side of the deal includes traffic sharing which means a portion of their five million monthly visitors will be directed to Metro sites, while some of Metro's exit traffic and qualified traffic will be routed to IG sites. IG will also put promotional banners on Metro sites and offer links to Metro sites from its webmaster portal.
Meanwhile, Metro's new release, The Houston 500: The World's Biggest Gang Bang III, is due out shortly in DVD format.
