Tonight at Club XES Nectar Entertainment is holding a release party for Marty Zion’s Metropolis, an eroticore vignette video with an MTV sensibility.
There will be an open vodka bar from 9-10p.m. hosted by Absolute Vanilia.
Metropolis features Brittany Andrews, Cynthia Pendragon, Pason, Dolorian, Nina Dolce, and Vicky Vette, and Sarah Blake. The title was released last week and according to Sean Logan, president of Nectar Entertainment, the video is doing well.
“The orders have been really strong for Metropolis,” Logan told AVN.com. “The word is out there and now everyone wants to taste the Nectar.”
Jeffrey Bryan, music supervisor for Nectar Entertainment, told AVN.com that the music at tonight’s event will be original music made for Nectar productions, including some of the music from Metropolis.
“We create original scores for everything. I oversee a bevy of musicians that contribute to our scores,” Bryan said. “We actually get a lot of requests to start adding CDs to our DVDs, so that people can listen to the music in their car.”
In fact, Nectar has such confidence in Bryan’s work, they’ve recently added MP3 downloads of his work to their Website.
The music will be synced with a club mix of Metropolis that will be shown during the event.
Club XES is located at 1716 N. Cahuenga Blvd, the corner of Cahuenga and Hollywood Blvd, across the street from White Lotus. $10 cover. RSVP to be placed on the industry guest list at [email protected] . The list will stay open until approximately 8p.m.
