National A-1 Internet and Kink.com (formerly CyberNet Entertainment) have signed a two-year agreement to offer Kink.com’s fetish titles exclusively through National A-1’s pay-per-minute video site HotMovies.com.
The deal got the green light when National agreed to transfer its ownership of the domain names Kink.com and Kinky.com to CNE in exchange for the agreement.
Kink.com’s fetish titles already have begun to appear on HotMovies.com. National also has launched Video-on-Demand sites for titles drawn from Kink.com’s themes: SexAndSubmissionVOD.com, MenInPainVOD.com, WaterBondageVOD.com, UltimateSurrenderVOD.com, and HogTiedVOD.com. Fans of the content also will find it appearing on National’spay-per-minute niche sites, KinkVOD.com and FetishMovies.com.
James Seibert, National A-1’s director of business development, says he expects the deal with Kink.com to garner significant attention within the adult industry.
“National never sells domain names,” says Seibert. “To give up desirable names like Kink.com and Kinky.com sounds crazy, but we view it as a major win. CyberNet Entertainment has a proven history of creating the finest in niche and fetishmovies. Now that it is Kink.com, we expect to attract vast new audiences to the benefits of pay-per-minute digital content delivery.”
Siebert adds that National is proud to be Kink.com’s exclusive partner in the rapidly growing on-demand market and says the company looks forward to the contribution that Kink.com will make to National A-1 Internet’s development.
“It was a very long negotiation that took a couple of months,” says Kink.com’s head of operations, Tony Pirelli. “We’ve never published our material on any site other than our own, but this works out great for us: We get the Kink.com domain, and we’re finally able to get our material [out there]. In fact, I think we should have done this quite a while ago.”
