Jack Napier has begun producing his own titles for West Coast Productions in addition to his performing and directing.
“As a producer I am responsible for everything from hiring talent, developing scenarios, editing, box art, marketing and other post production aspects, basically I do it all, said Napier, who started in the adult industry as a performer in March of 1999. "The reward comes in maintaining artistic control of the final product and feedback from the fans.”
Napier made the transition to directing in June of 2000 with his debut There’s Something About Jack. Since then he has created, directed and performed in West Coast Productions Chiquita You So Freaky, Housewives Gone Black and his latest, Black Size Queens.
Feedback from the fans has been positive for the man known as “The Gentle Giant."
“The letters I receive always contain praise for the performers," he said. "It is important to not so much direct a scene but to allow the performers to react naturally to a situation or scenario. The end result is natural, organic sex between two people who are truly enjoying themselves. Fans recognize this and appreciate the raw, uninhibited performances."
To his fans Napier said, “For the people who are dedicated to what I do, I can only say 'thank you.' If I can continue to convey what you want to see then I will keep making it as long for as long you keep watching it."
Napier’s future plans with West Coast Productions include continuing to direct, produce and appear in his hit series. His own personal plans revolve around a member driven, interactive web site.
“The term interactive regarding my site is all about responding to the members. I want them to have a voice in what they experience when they visit the site," Napier said. "The whole idea is to give people a first hand view of what I do. The day-to-day life, the phone calls, the ups and downs, I want to give you a taste of my life in its entirety."
