Mystique Spends Day with Aria Giovanni

Mystique Magazine and Image Entertainment have announced the fourth subject in their 12-title Day in the Life series of DVDs: model and Internet phenomenon Aria Giovanni.

In A Day in the Life of Aria Giovanni, producer Kevin King and director Mark Daughn use a documentary style that mixes the day-to-day activities of its star with a gorgeous fantasy shoot and a still photo montage – a continuation of Mystique Magazine’s success with on-location shooting. The filmmakers hope to have penetrated the mystery of the model’s daily routine to a degree unprecedented for a behind-the-scenes style film, giving a sense of the grounded reality out of which she works in addition to the expected beautiful visuals.

“The DVD is really jam-packed,” Giovanni told AVN.com. “There’s a tour of my house, and it shows me getting ready, working in my office, and then going to a shoot.” Giovanni describes the pictures taken for the DVD as “really beautiful; amazing” and her partnership with Mystique as one she’d definitely like to continue in the future as her career continues to progress. “They’re really nice people, and really professional.”

Giovanni is the 26-year-old native Californian who roared into the consciousness of adult entertainment followers when photos by Suze Randall put her on the cover of Penthouse Magazine in 2000 and accelerated her nascent career. Since then, Giovanni has become known for both her high profile as fiancée to rock star John 5 (the pair plans to wed in 2005) in addition to her own successful modeling and business enterprises.

Kevin King, Executive Producer of Mystique Magazine’s television specials and DVDs told AVN.com that Giovanni’s is the top-selling installment in the series. “Most people would be surprised she is not the girl they think they have come to know in the photos they’ve seen,” he says. “Aria is a very private person so convincing her to a Day in the Life DVD took some time; thus it is the fourth in the series.”

A Day in the Life of Aria Giovanni caps a busy and successful summer for Mystique Magazine, following on the heels of recently inked content deals with both inDemand and iFilm.
