Mansion Productions’ MPA3 back-end affiliate program stats and billing software has gone mobile with the addition of payment processor mENABLE.
The latest billing option integrated with MPA3 allows webmasters to accept SMS as a form of payment for memberships or services. It allows consumers to pay via their mobile phone and is geo-targeted.
“SMS billing is the fastest growing way to pay, although it is still on the rise in the U.S., in Europe it’s a billion-dollar market. Almost everyone has a cell phone and SMS is huge,” says Oystein Wright, Mansion CEO. “This offers a more discrete and anonymous payment method than debit or credit cards. And of course with the MPA3’s geo-IP tracking program, owners can set it so that only the surfers coming from Europe or whatever country they wish for will get the pay-with-SMS option.”
Mansion’s mENABLE solution works by presenting the surfer with an SMS code number when they try to access pay content. The user sends a message to the code number and instantly receives an access number back via SMS, types the code into a pop-up window and gains access to the content.
MPA3 currently offers more than 15 payment processing options.
