Mobile Adult Content Congress Offers Early-Bird Registration

The Mobile Adult Content Congress, which is being held Oct. 10-12 at the Sienna Hotel Spa & Casino, is offering attendees early bird registration that includes a complimentary room and $50 in gaming chips. The second annual conference and expo is aimed at bringing together industry leaders from around the world to discuss the opportunities and responsibilities of delivering adult content to the mobile device.

Black Marlin Multimedia Inc., the organizer of the AVN Online-sponsored event, is expecting more than 200 executives in a wide variety of industries, including operators, MVNOs, access control companies, billing companies, child protection organizations, and representatives of free speech.

“We’ve added more open-discussion forums to this year’s agenda, giving more time for views and opinions,” says MACC organizer Dan Garza. “We’ve also added a few more legal experts to offer advice on doing business in this space. WAP technology will be discussed in more detail as well as billing.” Garza added that this year’s congress would focus heavily on child safety and revenue.

“Everyone knows [adult content] is a huge business,” says Garza. “Content is already going through the carriers’ network via WAP technology, and they don’t see their rightfully owned piece of their revenue share. To put this in perspective, hotels for years have offered adult content to their patrons. They started at X and have graduated to XXX. We have invited some very interesting speakers and will have the final agenda up shortly. ”

A number of sponsorship opportunities are currently available for the event. For more information, please visit the website.
