The 110 Media Group’s affiliate program, MobBucks, has instituted a per-signup payout option that also recurs.
The program pays affiliates $35 per join and 25 percent for each recurring month, something unheard of in the industry.
“The response in the first day alone has been tremendous,” said Mark Tiarra, vice president of business development for 110 Media. “Many of the biggest resellers in our industry have contacted me today to congratulate us on the great idea and to say they were just waiting for someone to finally do something like this.”
The industry M.O. is the 50 percent revenue sharing program, with larger programs offering various pay-per-signup options without a recurring element.
MobBucks, whose parent company is publicly traded, expects the announcement to up affiliates and thus revenues.
