The British Ministry of Defense suspended an employee and four staff members of an associated company for downloading thousands of pornographic pictures off the Internet.\n The Sunday Times reported that military investigators found that workers at the Defense Evaluation and Research Agency in southwest England had downloaded 170,000 pornographic images, including some of children and animals, in a period of three weeks. They used 200 false identities to download the material, the paper said.\n Scientists at the agency are responsible for developing battlefield technology for BritainĀ¼s armed forces.\n A government spokesman said there will be an investigation to determine if additional disciplinary action should be taken.
