Metro Interactive and Private USA Executive Shake Ups

Two major studios have quietly made some major changes in the last couple of weeks.

Sources inside Private USA have confirmed that Bob Johnson, COO of Private USA, and Mara Epstein, national sales manager for the company, are no longer working for the company. Ric Williams, formerly of Metro, was named COO of Private USA.

Williams, who was jointly sharing responsibility for the running of the Metro with Joey Wilson, director of production for Metro, stopped working at Metro three weeks ago. “It was a mutual decision. It seemed that he had aspirations other than the direction that Metro was going in but I can only speculate as to what was going through his mind,” Wilson told AVN.com.

Wilson is now effectively the general manager of Metro Interactive, directing both the studio’s production and sales efforts. “It’s a lot of work but I’m really excited about it,” Wilson said. “I’m getting everything together for our new Fusxion line, letting people know it’s coming.

Lisa Radamaker, who once worked as Epstein’s assistant at Private, returned to Private with Williams. Radamaker had joined Metro’s sales force in July. Radamaker might return to Private as early as Monday, though as of today she was still working in Metro’s offices

“She did great with us though - getting the word out and bringing customers in,” Wilson said.

Private had not responded to inquiries concerning the moves.

Bob Johnson was hired in May as COO of Private North America, which has since changed its name to Private USA. Prior to joining Private, Johnson had been working on projects for his own Blue Horizon Media production company that makes videos for High Society, Cheri, and other adult magazines.

Mara Epstein, whose adult sales career spans over two decades, two and one half years of that time at Private, was unavailable for comment
