Hustler contract star Memphis Monroe doesn’t have to go far to play a sexy mythical goddess of ancient times in the company’s lavish adventure, Aphrodisiac.
With a hot body and a come-hither attitude that doesn’t take no for an answer, the 21-year-old blond starlet is indeed the embodiment of sex and passion, not to mention the living sex goddess she portrays in this latest Hustler title, set for release next Tuesday.
“This is no doubt the movie of the year and Memphis Monroe is the new rising star,” said Hustler magazine founder and LFP boss, Larry Flynt.
Having starred in a string of big releases for the company, Monroe is ready for her proverbial close-up as Hustler gets its marketing machine in gear for this major release.
“It’s my first big feature ever and when I saw how many lines I had and how big a budget it was, I kind of freaked out a little,” said Monroe who plays Aphrodite in the Cash Markman-penned sex adventure.
“But when I read the script and saw my lines, I thought ‘this is going to be fun.’”
With director Jerome Tanner at the helm, Aphrodisiac tells the tale of treasure hunter Dakota Smith, played by veteran stud Evan Stone, who is forced by the evil Heinrich brothers to search for the ultimate aphrodisiac. But once he reaches his final destination, Smith realizes the aphrodisiac isn’t a potion but Aphrodite, a living goddess who is the embodiment of pure sex.
She and her nubile harem, played by Eva Angelina and Naomi, show Smith and their men that they can fuck and suck like few other hotties can. Featuring lots of one-on-ones, girl-girl and double penetrations, the title shows off Monroe’s considerable sexual skills as she takes a good pussy pounding from Stone and Tommy Gunn in separate scenes.
“It was a pretty easy shoot for me with a great crew and a great cast and doing my scene with Evan Stone was a lot of fun. He was really easy to work with,” she said.
“It was more of a love-making scene than one of those ‘fuck me hard’ type of scenes. I do like it hard and fast, but this was a change and was fun to do.”
Portraying a living goddess who falls for the treasure hunter was especially gratifying for the Louisiana native.
“I immediately fell in love with that character. It was the first time I got to act out a character and I loved doing her. She was me in a lot of ways, so I wouldn’t mind doing more features like that,” she said.
“I would prefer shooting a feature film than a shooting a gonzo any day. I love playing a character and putting on costumes.”
For Tanner, directing Monroe was like dealing with a seasoned professional, he said.
“Memphis was great. She’s so good and she has that presence about her that few girls have and she’s a great performer,” Tanner said.
“I was really surprised how great she was in this movie. Now, I don’t think I could be surprised by anything she does anymore because she is so good.”
Having shot a number of top titles for Hustler and others, Tanner sees this latest effort as perhaps one of his biggest yet.
“I didn’t have to see the edited version of Aphrodisiac, to know it’s going to be good. I knew right after we shot it. Everyone worked very hard and was very serious about this movie and I think it shows in end.”
The cast includes Daisy Marie, Missy Monroe, Jasmine Byrne, Sandra Romain, Lee Stone and Frank Bukkwyd.
Having left mainstream modeling career in 2004 with Internet girl-girl shoots, Monroe came to Hustler’s attention after shooting a pictorial for Hustler Magazine last fall. She eventually earned the cover of the December 2005 issue and soon signed on to become a contract star for the company.
“I love working with Hustler and being a part of their family. They always take care of me and Larry’s always there to help.”
Meanwhile, Monroe and fellow contract stars Mya Luanna and Shy Love will make a personal appearance on Thursday, Oct. 5 from 8 to 10 p.m. at Hustler Hollywood, 8920 Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles.
